Paglaum Clinic became an official HIV treatment hub in January 2017. The name comes from the Bisaya word for hope, reflecting the clinic’s commitment to care without discrimination.

Previously called the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital Treatment Hub, the clinic began as a satellite facility under Western Visayas Medical Center. It became an official HIV treatment hub in January 2017. “Paglaum” means hope in Bisaya.
